Just a quick post today, based around this quote:
Scaffolding the learning. Providing the correct scientific language for children to use in their work is important and exciting! We talked of H2O, then one of the students asked how to write salt. As learner and researcher alongside of these children I researched and named it, scientifically. The children then used this scientific language in their designs.
This comes from a primary school teacher called Jo, a wonderful woman who guided two of my children through early years at school.
